Applejack My Little Pony Custom Sculpture WIP

Here we have Applejack from My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. She still requires some additional preparation and painting, but has reached the point where I can show a WIP pic of her.

After working on this sculpt, I have come to a startling revelation. I...hate...clothing. That hat has and continues to give me nightmares. I wanted to make it removable, but that has been a significant challenge. The hat has to constantly fight gravity while maintaining a position on the back of her head to maintain show accuracy. There is a small visible space under the hat that been difficult to remedy. Her ears prevent the hat from hugging her head more and if forced that hat tends to overwhelm the ears and hide them. I could put the hat between her ears, but the final result was completely squished and looked terrible. As you may have guessed, the hat has already undergone several iterations. I will probably have to go back to the drawing board and continue to work on the hat, but first I'd like to get some feedback.

Overall, pretty happy with her so far. I will paint her in the coming days and post a finished pic then.
